HorseMetric ("we," "our," or "us") operates the HorseMetric mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

• Authentication credentials managed through our authentication provider

Horse & Training Data

• Horse profiles (name, breed, age, discipline, level)
• Training questionnaire responses
• Training plans and session logs
• Notes and observations you enter

Usage Data

• App interaction patterns and feature usage
• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Crash reports and performance data

3. How We Use Your Information

• Generate personalized AI training plans for your horses
• Provide session tracking and progress analytics
• Manage your account and subscription
• Improve our App and develop new features
• Communicate with you about your account or service updates

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Supabase — Database hosting and user authentication. Data is stored securely with row-level security policies.
• OpenAI — AI-powered training plan generation. Your horse and training data is sent to OpenAI's API to generate personalized plans. We do not send your email or personal identity information.
• RevenueCat — Subscription management for in-app purchases through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Apple / Google — Payment processing for subscriptions is handled entirely by the respective app stores.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the App. When you delete your account, all associated data (profile, horses, training plans, session logs) is permanently removed from our servers.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with row-level security policies that ensure you can only access your own data.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (via account deletion)
• Export your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
